Sarah Hamilton's Maker Spaces | Makelight

Today I am welcoming Sarah Hamilton to Makelight and introducing her as the seventh Maker in my Maker Spaces book. Sarah is a designer and lives and works in a gorgeous house in South London, and she creates beautiful cards, prints, woodblocks and homewares.

Sarah was one of the first people on my book's wish list having visited her home in May 2013 as part of Dulwich Open House. My husband and I had a day with just a tiny baby Rudi and were deciding which house to visit in the time we had. Sarah popped up on Twitter and convinced us that hers was the one! I fell in love with her home and her work, and it was such a joy to meet Sarah in real life.

Sarah's love for colour, fun and travel flows through her home and her work. I just can't wait for you to see more in my book but for now here is just a little taste with my iPhone snaps!

And how adorable is her cat?!

The exciting news is that Sarah's home is part of this year's Dulwich Open House on 9th and 10th May and I will be there signing books, so you will be able to see a home and studio from the book and get your book signed at the same time!

While I'm talking about the lovely Sarah I must also highlight the wonderful campaign that she started last year and one of the many inspring things we talked about on the day of our photo shoot....Just A Card

Just A Card
Just A Card

I hope you will join Sarah's campaign.
