• All white • Have you noticed that lots of winter flowers are white? When Spring arrives the palette seems to shift towards yellow and more vivid colours appear in summer. I found a wild pussy willow tree in a Fen hedgerow today and brought a few slender branches of it home to how with hellebores from the front garden, snowdrops and wild plum from a wild patch near here and tiny narcissi that I confess I found in a florist shop. I find this collection of floral whites soothing on a day that we've all come down with a gruesome cold.
Wow! January wasn't exactly the month I had planned it to be. More than half of it was lost to tonsillitis and I feel like I want to start 2016 again today please! Hello February, I really am glad to see you!
But on thing that was very lovely about January was #makenewlight and all your beautiful and inspiring entries. My favourite and the winner is the gorgeous image above by @silverpebble2. Emma, I just love it! Please send me your postal address, so I can pop your prop box in the post for you.
For February the Makelight hashtag project is #makelovelylight. You might be inspired by Valentine's Day and love or just anything lovely that makes you smile. I use these two words so much that my husband even made me a special necklace to celebrate it! So, this month's hashtag really will keep me happy and smiling all month long.
Let's make another beautiful gallery together just like this one.
