As the weather turned from Summer to Autumn this gorgeous book popped through my door and instead of feeling all glum about the end of Summer it convinced me to get excited about the cosiness of Autumn and Winter. Selina Lake's new book, 'Winter Living' makes you want to grab a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate and cosy down for the evening.
The photography by Debi Treloar is stunning as always and of course Selina's styling and ideas are as beautiful as ever too. This book really celebrates the joy of Winter.
As well as decorating and styling ideas galore there are also lots of tips for things to make for your Winter home. Inspiring ideas like a chandelier decoration, a lampshade garland and window decorations with dried leaves. I can't wait to get making some of these things, especially the fairy light bunting. And planning ahead there are also some lovely ideas for Christmas celebrations.
The book is divided into six sections, Winter Inspirations, Homespun Charm, Faded Grandeaur, Rustic Retreat, Winter Whites and Festive Celebrations.
'Winter Living' by Selina Lake is published by Ryland Peters & Small on 8th October.
