Erika Harbert's Maker Spaces
Oh my...! I am staying in Berlin and am having the worst time ever with wi-fi connection at the place we are staying (the promised wi-fi connection is non-existent and 3G here is not working very well for me either - gosh I am such a London woman!) and I so wanted to get this final Maker Spaces blog post to you today as I have been posting these every Thursday for the past 12 weeks! So, here is a half finished post without all the lovely links but I will update it as soon as I can get some proper connection...or perhaps when I am back in London. For now here are some happy words and pretty pictures. Google will have to help you find all the things I mention. Big hugs everyone!
Hello lovely people! I am so excited as today is the official launch day of 'Maker Spaces'. It has actually been out for a few weeks now but today feels like the right day to really celebrate this achievement. One big childhood dream ticked off and the first in my 40 before 40 list! And I have been thrilled with the feedback I have had about the book so far.
Today I want to introduce you the final maker in the book, lovely Erika Harberts and her beautiful spaces and gorgeous dolls. Erika lives in Rotterdam with her husband and two daughters in a very creative home. She runs the delightful Miko Designs and I first discovered her when I spotted one of her super cute pink bunnies on Pinterest! I am just sharing a tiny peek into her home and workspace with you today. You can see lots more in the book itself. But I am also sharing images of her beautiful dolls and the collection my daughter is building up. And a few images of the amazing breakfasts she creates for her girls. One little Rudi is a little bit bigger I am really looking forward to taking some inspiration from Erika and creating special breakfasts for my children at the weekends. Oh and you must read her blog for her children's party inspiration.
Her most recent new clothes from Erika's lovely Etsy shop.
I made her a tiny bunch of flowers!
All dressed up and ready for next week's Makers' Pop-Up and Book Launch celebration at West Elm, London. I really hope to see you there! xo
Say hello to Erika:
