Makers Spaces at West Elm, London
Thursday 16th April was a day I will never forget. It was the first celebration of my first book and it was more amazing and overwhelming than I could have ever imagined. I talked to so many lovely people and signed so many copies of my book from 10.30am-9pm. Wow!
West Elm was so very kind and hosted the event so perfectly, with wonderful bites and drinks from Peardrop in the evening. We had a lovely Makers' Pop-Up with Vicky Trainor, Sarah Hamilton, Donna Wilson's team and my husband Stef, and to add to the magic of the day Inge Cremer and Maartje van den Noort came specially from the Netherlands. And my photographer Helen was there too, so it felt like a magical reunion and something I didn't ever imagine would happen when I started the book this time last year.
This coming week I have two exciting books events at the Hambledon on Thursday and Friday, and on 9th and 10th May I will be signing copies of my book at Sarah Hamilton's Open House weekend. And then...I'll be off to the USA for my American book tour. More about that one very soon!
Thank you so, so much to everyone who came to my book launch and for all the beautiful messages I received from around the World that day. You all totally blew me away! xo
