Isn't Autumn wonderful? All the gorgeous colours everywhere, the amazing light and the beautiful leaves. Each time I walk to my studio I end up picking up another pile of pretty leaves and as well as photographing them I've been making things with them, so I was delighted when I discovered a sweet tutorial in the lovely Zeena Shah's new book 'How to Print Fabric.' I have admired Zeena's wonderful work for a long time, so I've been really looking forward to her book coming out.

Zeena explains how to print with fallen leaves way better than I can and in the book she makes a tea towel, which I am definitely planning to do with my children. But yesterday in my studio I printed this napkin. Now I want to do a whole set of them as how pretty will they look on an Autumn table? (I've also realised the studio urgently needs an iron...excuse all the creases!!) It was so simple, fun and relaxing to make that I can't wait to do more.

You can get an idea of how I've done it looking at these pictures but for the full instructions and so many more amazing ideas for printing on fabric go and add Zeena's brilliant book 'How to Print Fabric' to your wish list!
