We set off with much excitement about both the flowers and the fact that it was just the two of us for the day, a rare treat for both of us to have some time together without everyone else.
The workshop was held the the lovely Quarter Cafe and the space was full of beautiful, bright flowers.
The workshop involved the children making a table centre with oasis, greenery and a wonderful selection of flowers.
Imogen just loved it, especially when she got to choose which flowers she wanted to add to her display.
I loved how she lay them out like this for me to photograph before we cut them. She's learning well!
The workshop was lovely and relaxed and really allowed the children to be creative with the flowers. It was also just so good to be able to spend time with Imogen, sharing my love for flowers in one of my favourite London stores. A perfect Saturday morning!
And just look how well her arrangement turned out.
