Hi!

Welcome to our family blog. We share lots of posts here, and you can also follow along over there:

It's the little things

As a busy mum to four little children and a wife to a super busy, often absent husband it is the little things in life, which often keep me going. Each week I will be writing a "it's the little things" post to share with you the things that have made me smile. The little things in life as so important but we often let them slip by. Appreciate the little things. They are precious.

This week's little things

The end of April, the beginning of May, our fourth week with baby Rudi, a visit from Granny, lots of sunshine, planting seeds, digging up weeds, celebrating a family birthday, opening windows, driving with the sunroof open, new books, first smiles, lots of cuddles, clean sheets, washing on the line, window boxes, hanging baskets and of course cake!

Another lovely week of little things. We've both been really tired this week. I have memories of the same thing happening when Max was four weeks old. Like everything catches up with you at once and you suddenly realise that a month with a newborn is quite tiring, even when it's all going really well.

If you like celebrating the little things and would like to share them here please do get in touch. I am planning on a few special guest "it's the little things" posts and would love to hear from you!

I hope you have enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend and that you have a lovely week.

{ps - it's the final week to vote for me to be a finalist in the Photography category of the Britmums' Brilliance in Blogging Awards. If you have a moment I'd love you to vote for me please!}
