Oh wow! This week I have been sent a copy of Pearl Lowe's Vintage Craft to review and I am head over heels in love with this beautiful book. I had a feeling it would be lovely but I wasn't quite prepared for just how lovely or just how jam-packed with beautiful ideas it would be.
The book has over 50 new craft projects, which are full of the glamour and romance of vintage style. The photography and styling in the book is just gorgeous and will fill you with inspiration for making things for your home.
I really love the way that the book is divided into different rooms - kitchen, living space, bedroom, bathroom and office, with wonderful ideas and projects for each space. Towards the end there is Pearl's Little Black Book of favourite vintage shops and suppliers, craft basics and tips in sourcing, salvaging and upcycling, which is a fantastic resource.
I could probably list every project in the book as a favourite but here are a few that jumped out at me when I first read it.
Patchwork lace tablecloth
Quilted nursing chair
Fabric covered clips and pins
Embossed notelets and envelopes
And I love that there are some sweet ideas for a child's bedroom too.
I can't wait to get stuck into some of these brilliant ideas and projects. If you love vintage interiors and craft you will simply adore this book. Pearl Lowe's Vintage Craft is published on 9th May 2013 by HarperCollins.
