Week 36 and the countdown really does begin. At some point in the next 6 weeks we will become a family of 6! It is so exciting. This week I have been completely exhausted and the memories of the last few weeks of carrying baby Max have been coming back. It was hard work with a 4 and 2 year old, and this is hard work too. My lovely Imogen is being as helpful as she possibly can but she's only 6 and she gets tired and grumpy sometimes and forgets about being good. They have also all been sleeping really badly and wanting to be as close to me as possible in the middle of the night. The same thing happened when Max was born, so it's no surprise. It's just exhausting!
But for all the exhaustion there is so much happiness and excitement too. I love feeling the little feet and knowing that very soon we will find out who is in here. And the children are just adorable, giving more and more cuddles, songs, kisses, stories and love as the bump gets bigger. This little one better be prepared for a whole lot of sibling love!
I spent Sunday with my sweet friend and photographer Lulu, who took these beautiful images for me. I love them so much and they will be precious memories for me and my family to treasure. Thank you so much Lulu, you are a star! xxx
