As a busy mum to three little children and a wife to a super busy, often absent husband it is the little things in life, which often keep me going. Each week I will be writing a "it's the little things" post to share with you the things that have made me smile. The little things in life as so important but we often let them slip by. Appreciate the little things. They are precious.
This week's little things:
The past week was a special week because my little guy turned 4. Wow! It was an adventurous week because we had snow and there was an igloo to play in. And perhaps rather too much ice for me and my baby bump! And it was a bit of a frustrating and exhausting week. I got cross and upset with myself for agreeing to something I shouldn't have. But by the end of the week I'd learned more important life stuff and despite being really tired out by it all I am proud of myself for getting myself out of a tangle of emotions and back on the happy road again. Helped along by lots of sweet little things, my adorable children, my amazing neighbours who came to celebrate Oren's birthday with us and my super husband. Oh and yesterday afternoon I had some windows open for the first time in a long while. Oh the smell of fresh air and the promise that Spring isn't too far away.
The week ahead is super exciting for me because I will be sending out my first Crafty Fox Boxes. It is also the final week of January. One more month of Winter almost done!
I hope you have a lovely, happy week full of super little things.
