As a busy mum to three little children and a wife to a super busy, often absent husband it is the little things in life, which often keep me going. Each week I will be writing a "it's the little things" post to share with you the things that have made me smile. The little things in life as so important but we often let them slip by. Appreciate the little things. They are precious.
This week's little things:
A lovely, busy week full of Christmas crafting, lunch with friends, dinner with a friend, Christmas baking, present wrapping, card writing and tree decorating! Oh and a very relaxing weekend away with Stef (and no children!) in Rye. Just what we needed before Christmas.
My very first It's the Little Things book! I have been planning this in my head all year but never actually go round to doing anything about it. I ordered this one from Blurb and it's the sweetest little book of some of my most recent Instagram images that I've featured on my Little Things posts.
I really love it and for 2013 I will be making one a month.
Well, it's the last week before Christmas. How exciting! I still have too much to do but I've made huge crafting progress. If I can repeat that with my baking then we'll be all set and ready for lots of fun. I just need to navigate all the Christmas concerts, parties, theatre trips etc. this week. School is great at this time of year until you have two little ones there and you have to do everything twice. I'm not even thinking about the future when I have to do it four times!!
Have a beautiful week! x
PS don't forget to enter my Blurb competition! x
