As a busy mum to three little children and a wife to a super busy, often absent husband it is the little things in life, which often keep me going. Each week I will be writing a "it's the little things" post to share with you the things that have made me smile. The little things in life as so important but we often let them slip by. Appreciate the little things. They are precious.
This week's little things:
I hope you had a lovely week and a beautiful weekend. Mine was a little bit too full of tired children but we did have some good times too. Hurry up Christmas holidays, this family needs a little rest!
Although as usual I'm slightly behind schedule on my Christmas making, baking and present buying/wrapping, I am still loving the lead up to Christmas. We went to see Father Christmas at London Zoo on Saturday, so I feel we've really started the build up now. We haven't got our tree up yet but I have started to fill the house with all my favourite Winter flowers including hyacinths and ranunculus and I think by the end of this week the house will have become very festive indeed!
I have a very special week this week. I'm seeing some lovely friends, we have booked a babysitter for a night out together and we have a weekend away without the children. A week of early Christmas presents to myself really! I will also be attempting to squeeze in some baking for the school Winter fair, present wrapping, present making and continuing to help the children with their Christmas crafting! Have a wonderful week! x
