Hi!

Welcome to our family blog. We share lots of posts here, and you can also follow along over there:

It's the little things

Littlethings1801
As a busy mum to three little children and a wife to a super busy, often absent husband it is the little things in life, which often keep me going. Each week I will be writing a "it's the little things" post to share with you the things that have made me smile. The little things in life as so important but we often let them slip by. Appreciate the little things. They are precious.

This week's little things:

This week has seriously whizzed by in a haze of new school and nursery drop-offs and pick-ups and lots of admin. We had 3 weeks without any school or nursery, and while that started to send me slightly crazy, it was really special to have complete freedom over how we spent our days and there weren't any deadlines and we didn't have to go anywhere in a rush. The school run with three children 5 and under (plus a baby bump) is always rather a hectic affair, no matter how organized I am. You can never predict how many melt-downs there will be between 6-8am each morning and when exactly they will occur. And that's what's makes the school run tricky. There is no time for stopping for melt-downs!

Anyway, I have two very happy children to be back at school and nursery. They seem to have settled in really well already, even if the whole thing is taking me a little while to get used to. But while I get my head around it all and how to spend my now very chopped up days, I will keep on spotting all the wonderful little things that are around me each day.

Have a beautiful week and fill it full of little things. They are always there, just remember to collect the moments.
