That was September: This is October

Wow! October already. I'm sure we say that every month but time really does go too fast these days. September was a month of ups and downs as always but I think on reflection mostly ups.

I finally reached the end of my first trimester with baby four and had the most wonderful baby scan. And Stef made me my Love data necklace, and since then things have gone a bit crazy with all sorts of press and excitement about what might happen next with that one.

I did have do to rather a lot of solo parenting while Stef was up on the island of Eigg and away for weekends but now that I'm 13+ weeks it's far easier to manage that. But we also managed some family time in Brighton (the last of the Summer days) and I had a lovely day in London with my friend Catherine who has a baby bump too!

Looking forward, October looks set to be a super exciting month as towards the end of it we finally move back to London. It feels like I have been waiting for this date for so very long and we're making it happen at last. Simply cannot wait. Stef is away a lot again this month, so I've made myself a strict but managable packing schedule, so that we don't end up with the pre-moving day panic at the last minute. I think I'm on top of it. And for once I think we may be taking very little junk with us. Fingers crossed anyway!

It is also my birthday month and we are popping up to see lots of friends in Birmingham to celebrate, so I'm looking forward to that very much indeed.

And I am hoping for some beautiful October light, pretty Autumnal colours and some snuggly, cosy evenings crafting a few little new home treats. Autumn is the best!

I hope that September was kind to you and that you have a super October planned.
